About Our Products
Universal Building Systems, Inc. manufactures high quality fasteners, tools and hardware primarily for job-specific applications in the building industry. The two segments of the building industry that we are best known for servicing are related to stairs and porches. We manufacture any piece of hardware required to assemble a staircase.
The company is best known for developing the patented Sure-Tite™, which has become the most widely used newel post fastener among stair professionals.
Also unique to our product offering is that we now offer over forty choices of wall rail brackets.

The one thing that truly sets us apart is our tenacious attention to quality and detail both in the design phase, as well as production.
While we do rely on some oversees production for a portion of the components that we produce, we have unparalleled quality control standards in place at all of our foreign production facilities as well as our domestic plants. All of us at UBS are quite proud of the fact that since our formation in 1990, we have never had to conduct a recall on any product that we designed or produced.
As a component of our continued pursuit to provide the highest quality products, UBS has contracted with an independent ICC approved laboratory to test many of the products we produce.
